Link between Rural and Urban Dwellers
There is a link between rural and urban dwellers that I believe goes greatly unnoticed. Urban dwellers rely on rural dwellers for the sustenance needed to maintain their lifestyle and vice versa. With the reliance on a more global economy, consumers in many parts of the world have come to rely on foods that are shipped great distances to reach their plates. In the United States that average is between 1500 and 2000 miles per meal.
